Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the Caltech Arabia platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the Caltech Arabia website, services, and online catalog, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use, along with our Privacy Policy.
If you are using our platform on behalf of a company, corporate body, or public entity (such as Aramco, SABIC, or secondary industrial contractors), you certify that you have the legal authority to bind that entity to these conditions.
2. Quotes & Sales Agreements
All prices listed in our catalog are in Saudi Arabian Riyals (SAR) and exclude Value Added Tax (VAT) unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Quotations: Written commercial quotes requested via email or contact forms are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue unless specified otherwise in writing.
- Order Confirmation: An order submitted via the website or invoice generator constitutes an offer to purchase, which is subject to inventory confirmation and technical compliance verification by our desk in Al Khobar.
- Out of Stock: In the event that a precision calibration instrument is unavailable, Caltech Arabia reserves the right to cancel the request and issue a full refund or propose a direct technical equivalent.
3. ISO Calibration Services Disclaimer
Caltech Arabia offers purchase-time calibration upgrades for selected metrology and testing instrumentation (such as Mitutoyo calipers, Testo hygro-thermometers, and Hioki multimeters).
Unless specified as an in-house manufacturer-supplied calibration document, all standard calibration services are subcontracted to ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratories inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Caltech Arabia coordinates direct pickup, testing, and certificate generation but is not liable for certificate validation rejects by secondary inspectors.
4. Shipping & Delivery
We coordinate freight operations across all regions of Saudi Arabia, including major hubs (Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah) and distant industrial clusters (Jubail, Yanbu, Wa'ad Al-Shamal).
- Delivery Times: Standard stock items are dispatched within 2-3 business days. Heavy equipment or pre-calibrated orders may require 5-7 business days for processing.
- Shipping Errors: Customers must report shipping damages, missing items, or mismatching serial numbers within three (3) calendar days of delivery signature receipt.
5. User Accounts & Portals
Registered corporate clients receive dashboard credentials allowing access to order logs, wishlist saves, and contact profile details.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and restricting unauthorized access to your computer or internal industrial procurement terminals.
6. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Caltech Arabia be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from instrument accuracy drifts, industrial process downtimes, or safety hazards arising from the deployment of products supplied.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws, regulations, and royal decrees of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with the purchase of instruments from Caltech Arabia shall be referred to and resolved by the competent commercial courts in Dammam/Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
